Description
This Remington Quick-Detach Carrier model is designed around the 870, but will fit the screw pattern of the 11-87 and 1100 (though trimming of the forends may be necessary).
With a Receiver adapter machined from a block of 6061-T6 USA made aluminum and commonly being accused of being over-engineered, it’ll hold up to extreme use. Type III hardcoat anodizing to military specifications gives it a durable finish, while the parkerized steel latch and stainless steel torsion spring keep the Carrier itself in place. The serial number cutout makes life easier on armorers who need to take inventory without having to remove the unit.
With a skeletonized back plate to shave weight without sacrificing strength, and blind tapped holes that can’t be over-tightened, the Q-DC addresses many issues currently seen in other rigid carriers.
Note: Like many shell carriers out there, there may be interference if the forend extends beyond the edge of the receiver when the action is opened. Trimming of the forend may be required. The Q-DC is compatible with both Magpul and Surefire forends. It is also will not interfere with the Magpul single point sling adapter.
The Remington Q-DC comes with one (1) Receiver Adapter, one (1) Detachable carrier, appropriate mounting hardware, and threadlocker.
