Ballistic Advantage barrels come in three different varieties.
Made from Chrome Moly Vanadium (CrMoV) steel, the same steel used in
MIL-SPEC barrels but manufactured to a level that far surpasses MIL-SPEC
requirements. These barrels are all coated in a corrosion-resistant QPQ
salt bath nitride finish (also colloquially known as "melonite").
Performance Series: Similar
to the Modern Series of barrels in that they are made from Chrome Moly
Vanadium (CrMoV) and given a QPQ coating BUT the M4 feed ramps are
coated with Nickel Boron for a slick finish and the business end of the
barrel has a protected 11 degree target crown.
Premium Series: These
barrels are the "crème de la crème" in the Ballistic Advantage lineup.
Each barrel is lovingly machined from 416 Stainless steel, has a Nickel
Boron coated M4 feed ramp and a protected 11 degree target crown.

But wait, there is more!
What is a BA Hanson? The
BA Hanson barrel has a shoulder-less profile to limit a barrel's "whip"
during a shot, allowing for a quicker follow-up shots at higher firing
rates. These barrels come with a gas block that is pre-milled for a roll
pin (also included). Of course, upgrading to a sweet Wojtek Weaponry
adjustable gas block certainly doesn't hurt either!
